March Meeting - Central Boiler Efficiency

Hey all,

There will be two meetings next week Thursday, March 17: Lunch in South Bend at Tippecanoe Place and Dinner in the Calumet area. For a little change up, however, the dinner meeting will be at The Charleyhorse Restaurant in Munster, IN.

Robert Glod from the National Association of Power Engineers will be speaking about what every industrial facility should be doing to reduce their boiler room's carbon footprint. This high energy speaker will touch on several current subjects including reducing water chemical treatment, proper deaeration, and water treatment concepts.

Please RSVP by Tuesday, March 15

Thursday, March 17, will be St. Patrick's day and the middle of March Madness. The Charleyhorse will be a GREAT place to participate in both. Come join us at 4:00 pm CST for our "executive" meeting and to catch some of the 2nd round action on the big screens. The presentation will end in a timely fashion to catch some March Madness afterward as well.

Also, coming up in either April or May the chapter may have the opportunity to host a 4 hour training session on ASHRAE 90.1-2007, the new energy code for the State of Indiana. This will be provided at MINIMAL cost to anyone who wishes to attend. If you are interested, please take the survey on the sidebar.
